WHAT: The Illinois Science Assessment (ISA)
is required for all 5th, 8th, and 11th grade Illinois
students. It is used to assess science knowledge.
The ISA consists of questions in science.
The test does not have a set finish time, but should only
take part of one school day.
PREPARING FOR THE ISA:
The best preparation is to take advantage of learning
as much as you can in your science classes. The knowledge
taught over the years is the best practice you will get
for the ISA.
WHAT TO BRING TO THE ISA:
The ISA is taken on the computer. Students should
bring their charged chrome book, pencils with an eraser
and a calculator.
